Arduino Due + ESP8266 + DHT11, to update dweet.io

This example combine the posts of "Arduino Due + ESP8266 as client, connect to website", "Temperature & Humidity monitor using Arduino NANO + DHT11 + 0.96 inch 128X64 I2C OLED" and "IoT experience: Arduino Uno + Ethernet Shield send data to dweet.io and freeboard.io": to read Humidity and Temperature from DHT11, and update my thing at dweet.io using ESP8266.

equivalent connection:

  1. would you help me a little? The UNO runs perfectly the dht11 example, but when i compile in a DUE i get some errors. This ones:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Arduino\libraries\DHT-sensor-library-master\DHT.cpp: In constructor 'DHT::DHT(uint8_t, uint8_t, uint8_t)':
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Arduino\libraries\DHT-sensor-library-master\DHT.cpp:14:9: error: invalid conversion from 'Pio*' to 'uint8_t {aka unsigned char}' [-fpermissive]
    _port = digitalPinToPort(pin);
    ^
    Error de compilación

    i don´t know how to fix this.

  2. i run this code in arduino ,but i am getting error as 'Serial3' was not declared in this scope' please help me on this code
    thank you

    1. 'Serial3' depends on the MCU of the board. In my case, Arduino Due, come with 'Serial3'.

  3. Hello, and congratulations excellent contribution. It works perfectly. My question is, can it work without holding the USB cable connected to a computer? Put another way, you need Arduino connected up to a PC to send data? I have fed ESP Arduino and externally.
    Thank you so much

    1. For sure you can remove all code of communication with PC, no need to send data to PC.

  4. Thank you very much, my problem is due to the source of alimentacón. On the other hand I want to know how to send the same data from temperature and humidity to a WAMP server and store it in mysql.
    Thank you very much for the tutorial
